By now you may have heard that SSi Consulting was acquired by Menlo Technologies. SSi will continue to operate as a separate entity and will continue to provide our customers with the service and level of experience they have grown accustomed to. As we began the process of identifying the company that could offer the right-stuff to our customers, Menlo Technologies was exactly what we were looking for. Our team of experts in Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics SL, Sage Intacct, and Unanet are now supported by developers and an integration team that only enhances our services.
SSi is now able to provide our customers with a full technology suite. With the support of the Menlo Team, SSi can now offer managed services, web and mobile development, data management and integration. The introduction of AI (artificial intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things) becomes something that will affect all our customers, aligning with a technology firm that is already a recognized leader in that field made it a simple choice. With customers like Apple and GoPro, we knew Menlo had the experience, SSi is excited about our future together.
Even though the trends of 2018 are all focused on technology, there is an old standard that we hold dear, personal interaction. I believe that staying involved with our customers is something that allows SSi to continue to be a relevant adviser in their business. Simply asking the right questions, doing regular “check-ins”, and providing insightful information about upcoming trends and regulations is an invaluable part of our customer retention. Maintaining and building on our relationship with customers while adding new ones with experts in a variety of industries is something we plan to continue. As the world of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and technology change, we will be there to keep you informed. Whether you have interest in a cloud strategy or finding out more about Microsoft’s Dynamics 365, our goal is to be your advocate.
Lastly, something blue is the most difficult for me to write about. Two owners at SSi have stepped away from the day to day activities, Bill Aiton and Mike McNeese. Both Bill and Mike have provided valuable insight and strategy leading to the growth and success of SSi Consulting. Personally, Bill has been a mentor and friend and I will miss his leadership.
